jusqu'à la mer...

Grâce au bouquin "40 weekend breaks from Shanghai", nous avons décidé de prendre nos vélos et d'aller jusqu'à la mer depuis chez nous! Un peu sceptiques au départ, nous avons été agréablement surpris de longer un canal tout a fait sympatique, bordé de champs et de villages qui nous faisaient presque oublier les usines éloignées :) Hélas, chemin non éclairé et nous faisant rattrapper par le soleil couchant, nous avons dû revenir avant de voir la mer, mais ce n'est que partie remise! Au total 60km aller-retour depuis l'embarcadère!

Thanks to the book "40 weekend breaks from Shanghai", we took our bicylces to go to the sea from home! Very happily impressed to discover that the path along the canal is really nice and beautiful! Countryside and villages along the way mak you forget the factories some miles away! Unfortunately, after riding 3 hours and 30 km, the sunset made us go back home without reaching the sea, to do all the way back in the dark. Next time we will wake up earlier!! :)
